Sucuraj is located on the east cape of the island of Hvar, 77 km from the city of Hvar. This picturesque small town has existed for more than 2300 years, it has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. It has more than 2700 hours of sunshine per year, because of that it is one of the sunniest and hottest places on the island.
At the top of the hill above of city of Hvar there is a fortress, built at the beginning of the 16th century. On this image you can see a beautiful panorama view of the town of Hvar and Pakleni Islands.
